Does it sound like a buzz or whine? It maybe your fuel pump.

First of all unplug the main BUS fuse, then one at a time remove, clean corrosion, and reinstall with di-electric grease all fuses and relays in the fuse box, most likley you have gotten water in the fuse box and something has corroded and is shorting.

HOTLAP is right. Look for white powder on the contacts (corrosion). Coat all contacts with Dielectric Grease. If you still have a problem switch the location of the two relays and see if that solves the problem.

+100. The sound is your fuel pump cycling on/off & is most likely from corrosion build up in your fuse block. It's been noted on here numerous times & I believe there was a TSB for the dealer to replace the fuse block on certain bikes.
