Nope. The SE kit just comes with the same type filter element as the stock harley air cleaner.

I picked up a K & N for my SE setup. Just need teh EFI tuner from Fuel Moto, then I'll be good to go.

Thanks for all of the replies.

Hang on to the filter element that came with the SE air cleaner. Sometimes when you clean and oil the K & N element it takes a while for it to dry. I wish I had a stock element I could throw in, while the K & N is soaking and drying.

Not correct. The SE kit comes with a washable gauze type element much like the K&N only the gauze is more dense and does not get oiled. I used K&N's for years then grew weary of the oil thing (not enough and won't filter well, too much and makes an oily mess). My SE kit with the SE element works just fine thank you.

Should I go with a Ness Big Sucker instead?

Thanks,

Haven't had that happen but those junk air filters fall apart in a very short time.

over 20.000 miles here, no problem with the backplate or screws gettin sucked - I check them regularly tough.

the filter media, on the other hand, is crappy and got replaced with a k&n HD-0900 a long time ago. that POS rusts the screen and the rubber and foam parts desintegrate, not to mention the filter media develops little holes in it.

cheers

Thing is, when someone is doing some research and these posts come up from that search, it helps when the correct information is presented. Doesn't matter how old the thread is.
