Default H-D set me free!

After 250K+ miles on rice rockets, I finally came in from the dark side.
Just bought a 2009 XR1200 and I love this bike. It's almost as "flickable" as my old bikes and the low-end is great! I don't care much about high-end anymore. This is a terrific forum, and I'm learning something every time I browse through the threads. No mods yet, but I think low drag bars on the XR would be the first. Went to Lick's site per a mention in another post. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

A set of fully adjustable rear shocks just like Harley is putting on their 2010 XR1200X model now or a set of nice Ohlins would be better!

I want the 2010 xr1200, but for now my little 06 1200 Roadster will have to do.
This forum is great, be sure to see the video of the guy back flipping the xr1200 its cool. Good luck and many mods in your future.

IMO there is no way I would go from a real sport bike to an XR1200, but that is just me. I still have my 08 Z1000 and got my XL50. I liked the XR12 when I seen pix, but once I sat on one and seen it in person I was not a fan. I'm sure it's a good bike and if you like it then that's all that matters, but to me it's not a Sportster and it's not a sport bike. IMO the Jap's make the best sport bike out there for the money.
