well got the sissy bar made, bars welded up and i figured out how i'm gonna mount this fender finaly, sorry but these are the best pics i got...evodog came over and man does he know his ****. taught me some cool stuff, learned how to make an old school type bender and some cool little things that will make my life easyer in the future...cool petcock, some closed mount bung things (i always **** up what thats called) , the things to mount my tank into my frame with...anyway, bike is really comin along, just gotta figure out this braking system and i'll be good

alright well i've been kinda suckin at takin pics of building progress, i mean step by step anyway.
here is where i'm at so far, sissy bar is mounted up and a bracket is made to hold the sissy bar to the fender, i gotta cut up the ends of the fender strut mounts and clean up the welds but i'm really happy with the outcome. I also learned how to rose bud metal with just some simple garage tools (i think i'll post a how to thread a some time this week)
also got the bars done, gotta clean them up, welded up a triangle as a cross barcket in the risers (if anyone is a friend of bill w. you'll get it) you might notice the bars are longer than they where, i ended up cutting longer bars because i'm not sure if i'm gonna heat and bend the bars so i'll just cut them to size once i'm done with them.
i'm gettin alot of help from this dude evodog, he knows his **** and is always bringin me goodies brought me a grinder to borrow today and man am i in love!
my seat isn't exactly awesome soooo i'll probley be cuttin it down and tryin somethin new.
still to go is to get the tank (ebay guy is suckin ***! its been over 2 weeks), mount the bracket on the bottom of the fender, redo the seat and brakes, and then paint

well not to much progress today, cleaned up the welds on the sissy bar, ground down the nubs of the fender struts (still gotta sand them with a fine grit) got the shape i wanted. finished the last fender bracket and mounted it up for mock up.

also, gonna scratch my seat and make another outta the current one, the current one is just too big for the bike and doesn't go with the flow of it.

still waiting on the tank, i guy i got it off on ebay is either really sick or really dickin me around...either way its been almost 3 weeks and no tank, i'm gettin impatient.

anyway...on wit the pics...



actually found a good use for my upper belt guard bracket, it holds the lower part of my fender on now
