Default Blown head gasket

Anybody got a good write up or pics on how to replace the gaskets? Yes I have a manual, but usually someone on here has got a bad *** write up with a hell of a lot better pics than the manual.

The Parts Manual is a great back up to the Service Manual for just that reason.

You can get it done with just the service manual.

Hey I can build anything as long as I have a manual.

Tot just some good ole rib tickling is all I was doin, no teasing here.
But you know what they say about Atlanta weather. If its not raining give it ten minutes it will be.
I ordered a full engine gasket set for about half of what the dealer wanted for just the once cylinder rebuilt kit. Its being shipped out of Oklahoma so I may have it this weekend. If I get it saturday ill be back riding by sunday.

not sure about the evo's but on the ironhead its fairly straight forward, release pushrod covers remove oil feed lines remove carb&intake manifold, remove exhaust, remove 4 headbolts per head, jiggle head free from frame, remove old gasket, clean mating surfaces install new gasket, make sure you stil lhave your watch and rings on, put everythign back to getehr and adjust timing/ pushrods

It is fairly easy. Invest in a good torque wrench. I did my front cylinder base gasket in 3 hours.
