I'm looking at the salvage bagger option because my GF always wants to ride, so the bagger would be for the 2-up, and then I could chop & switch my sporty back to a solo ride. I don't plan on ever getting rid of the sporty.

I appreciate the suggestion and will keep that in mind.. I would really like to keep it a local as possible to keep down on cost of shipping.. I'm basically looking for a project that will take a year or two at the most and trying to keep it under 4-5k but the least expensive the better.. considering as of right this min.. because of Christmas.. (and my kids come first).. my budget is about $30 a piece of dental floss and some pocket lint... Thats why I thought something older that needed a little work and TLC would be a good starting point.. and the main objective is to do as much of it by myself as possible.. I would really like to find someone that has an old 70 or 80s model sportster sitting in a garage collecting dust taking up space.. or even in pieces collecting dust and taking up space.. Its one of those things that I know its out there I just have to keep looking.. and its not going to fall in my lap tonight..
