Dude - I like your bike a lot. Your A/C "how-to" inspired me to do my own. However, the line from the breather bolts will NEVER hold, (especially after they get hot) they just slip off, not matter how tight you make those damn hose clamps, so I got some sifton breather filters. And maybe that's why you bought a new setup, entirely. Your headlight mount rattled and failed because your bracket was too thin. Mine is 1/4" thick and there is no problem.
Good job on the engine paint. Kudos for taping up the bolts. One last thing - push your apes forward. The alignment with the forks doesn't look right. Your bars should be 90 degrees to the ground. That's just my 2 cents. Let's go raise some hell sometime out in Conroe.
Peace.

Thanks man, yeah I've been kinda messin with the placement of the Bars and I like them where they are the same angle as the forks for long Cruises and then I push them forward even with the angle of the front of the Tank for Bar Hoppin.
The Headlight Mount was fine to me, but it broke cause of my stupidity. The metal was thick enough but I actually Broke it with my hands while tryin to bend it this way and that way and twistin after I put it on.
The Air Cleaner I made was awesome but like you said the hoses would never stay on. They just got hot and rolled off. Besides that I loved the A/C until I ran across the one I have now and had to have it.
And finally I didnt tape the bolts, Im too lazy lol I bought some rubber Nipples (Thread End Covers) like the black ones that come on the Bolts on the bike. I bought 15 or so and placed them over the head of the bolts. Work and Fit perfect. After painting, just pull them off and thats it

I used zip ties and alot of trial and error with the tucking of the wires. Just seeing which way looked and fit better.
I made the bracket out of Metal from ACE Hardware. Basically the design everybody is makin and sellin now (Just a 2 1/2 inch piece of metal about 1 inch wide)
I used a Automobile Guage holder from Jegs as the bracket for the Speedo. Fit perfect and used the bolt from the original bolt used as the Tank Securment to bolt it to
