Default Eyebrow headlight mount

If I was to install the eyebrow-mount headlight on my custom, are these bolts on my top tree the mounting points?

Yes. Also, I believe the headlight bucket is different than your 1200C.

Yeah, I figured so. I planned on changing the whole assembly. I've heard of guys having to drill and tap holes in the top tree to mount the eyebrow (if it wasn't on there from stock) but I was sure my tree had the holes already there. Thanks.

I'm curious as to why you are changing to the eyebrow? I kind of wanted to change mine to the lower tree mount. I like the look better.

i would keep the headlight u got. but if u were to change it out, the holes that hold the decorative trim piece on ur top triple tree are the same mounting holes for the eyebrow

I'm just at the point where I don't want to get rid of my bike, but, I want a different look. There's more to my plan than just changing the headlight, I just needed to make sure I could do that before I started hunting for parts.

Yep, those bolts on your custom are presently used to hold the chrome trim piece that conceals the handle bar/speedo wiring, but are also used to firmly hold the headlight eyebrow mount of other sporty modles.

You are good to go
