I came across this photo on another forum and i've decided to mod my bike after it.

What would you call this style? its not a cafe racer...its not a bobber....wtf is it...

all i know is its bad *** and we've already started the plans to model my bike after it...

even down to the finish and style of the exhaust.

thoughts?

I have a buddy that bought a 2001 883 and built into a bike very similar to that one. The first thing that he did was build the engine to match the looks. It's pretty stout. A shade over 100hp from what I've been told.

Sharp bike. Other than the headlight.

IMHO, why does it need to be classified as one thing or another. It's a custom sportster. But if you had to call it something...Bobfeperster.

IMHO, even though I am new to the whole scene I would say very close to a Cafe...

-Clip-Ons
-Rear Sets
-2-1 Exhaust

regardless, it is simply badass...

I am looking to convert mine into something similar...just have not sold myself entirely on it yet...

Good luck with your build and please post pics...

It's similar to a cafe, but also looks like a tracker (as in dirt tracker). If you do a google search for sportster tracker, you'll find hundreds of pictures and find that the sportster is a fairly popular dirt tracker bike. I'm going a similar route.

Yep, the tire treads probably give more of a clue than anything.

Maybe a modernized flat/board track racer. Very cool bike none the less.

I would first call it cool! Then I would call it a street tracker, dirt tracker for the street. But it is very unique.
Good find!
