ok so.. here's my mini review:
Stock Iron: fun bike all in all great

Iron w/ stage one upgrades: Awesome bike better than before

Iron w/ upgrades and apehangers: BadASS ...

there is no other way to describe it .. you sit on the bike and it makes you feel like a badASS... it went from feeling like a bobber to feeling like a chopper. You sit more on your entire butt then just parts of it when leaning over to grab the stock 'drag bars'... Now if you want to feel this way like your on the highway to hell and all that then apes are the way to go... laterz... MR.CrazyNutz

I am interested in putting on mini apes. Did you install yourself? If so, how difficult is it to do?

yeah i installed the apes myself... to some extent i think it would
have been easier to take to a dealer and faster. It took me 2 weekends
of work because i broke some tabs and didn't have tranny fluid...
it is definitely doable by yourself but a service manual would have been
wonderful to have.... a plus if you are planning on doing this yourself.

Default Update 2011

Ok so my Irene has gone through a few mods ... time for an update...
Firstly for this riding season my butt will be on a Mustang solo seat and
a bitwell solo rack 'cause the misses says 'i ain't riding 'til you get a trike'
ha!... stay home then... Also got some 'pony express' bags which I am
loving because it is double the room as a solo bag and balances out the bike better... not great for big items but for 2 subway subs on one side and 2 cokes on the other it's great ... or riding down to the range ... ammo in one side and handguns on the other... double stress relief... riding then shooting..
Also the bags hide the rear passenger pegs that don't get used all that often...

Some Pics attached...
