The bike has less than 4000 miles on it. It's never been dropped. Most of the mod's I've done are all HD parts and yes, it runs like a bear. I hope you guys are right and someday it just may become a clasic. Does anybody have a link where I could find out how many were really made? Hit it back and let me know. Thanks guys, Always, keep it in the wind. HOLLYWOOD....................

They came from the factory with high flow head work done on them didn't they? I kind of wanted one when they first came out but I didn't pull the trigger back then and waited to see what the factory had up their sleeve.

This is correct since I own a 2007 XL50 # 674 of 2000-mine is black. As I can gather 1000 of them were black and 1000 was orange, but I have see way more black ones. Just becasue you have a 2007 Sportster does not mean it's limited bike. Besides the 2000 XL50's they made all other 07 Sportys are just regular bikes.

Apparently from your OP you are trying to figure out how many 07, 883's, painted blue & black were made. Does that include all models, like the Low, Standard, Custom, etc? Since there is nothing really special about this bike, which might have made the production numbers worthy of print space, maybe you should try sending the question to the MoCo.

It could be a limited paint set. At the dealership, that I work at, I remember seeing only 2 or 3 blue on black tins.

WRAITH, Right now I'm not sure what Iv'e got. It's a 2007 883 for sure. I got it brand new as a leftover in 2008. This bike cooks and I don't mean dinner. If I hit it hard in second gear it doe's one of two things, smoke the tire, or pull the front end up so hard I have to back off the throttle or it will flip. It's like I'm not even there. It is a full stage 1. V&H short shots fuel pack, and a hand built K&N air cleaner. But that can't explain why it runs so good. I have to wonder if I got a 1200 block. The only way i'll know is if I tare it down. Any idea's? HOLLYWOOD............................
