Question Took reflectors off rear fender, what can I use on this paint?

Took my reflectors off the rear fender and now I'm trying to get this adhesive foam **** off the paint. I started using Mineral Spirits but I'm having to buff it pretty hard to get the adhesive off. I don't wanna finish and have a big dull spot where I buffed the clear off. Anyone have any suggestions for a product that's safe for paint and would eat through the adhesive quicker???

If you roll it with your thumb most of it comes off and WD-40 takes the rest off.

I like 3m adhesive remover,WD is probably more common as everyone has it,but the 3m stuff works very well.

If you use fishing line behind the reflectors when you take them off to begin with, it wont leave the foam on....there's a simple technique to doing this correctly. Too late for your case but maybe it will help others....
