Brake clean works the best. I use it to remove sticker glue from all the new bikes I detail.

Here we go again, go to an auto body supply store, ask for a decal remover tool. It's a round disk that mounts in a drill. It will take off anything on a painted surface and not hurt the paint or clear coat. Just compound then rewax the area. Good luck, HOLLYWOOD.....................

Acetone will remove the sticky stuff as well and wont damage the finish. Good idea to follow up with mild compound and wax afterwards. Also for hard to remove decals, a heat gun or blowdryer on hot setting works well. Just don't let the hot air blow in any one spot for too long, gotta keep it moving or you will burn the finish.

Seems like a lot of trouble when you can use wd-40, a rag, and a quick spray of wax
