Does anyone know if a stock 2 up seat from say, a 883 or 1200 custom or and other sportster with 2 up stock seat, will fit an 09 Iron? I see there are quite a few on ebay and I dont really want to spend the $200+++ for and aftermarket and I dont really care for the looks of a pillion. I see there are different part #s for the iron/nightster vs. a custom or a low. I just cant believe there is that much difference between these bikes at the seat area. Anybody know what the difference is? I should say I got a seat off an 04 sporty that didnt fit because of the added electronics for efi under the seat and the rear mounting hole on the fender was a few inches off. just dont want to waste the money on a '07-'10 seat if it wont fit either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
