Default DIY sissy bar

I took this..DIY sissy bar-img_0193_m.jpg
and turned it into this...[ATTACH]DIY sissy bar-img_0199_m.jpg[/ATTACH]
The GF says its comfy as is, no pad needed. Wadaya think???

Thanks guys . Thought the other harley offerings didn't suit the bike and the aftermarket was trying to rape me. Had the rack anyway, so it was an afternoon of screwing around to make it happen.
Helped to have the use of a press to change a couple of contours and to bring the mounts back into alignment after welding. (Just about sh-t on the first test fit. Didn,t think it was gonna pull that bad.) All worked out tho.
I cut off less than 2" of material, it is extremely strong, quick release, and best of all..... different.(painted black since pics)

The GF of course! But really, it can sit on the seat and be attached to the bar. I think it actually gives me MORE options
