HA ha, man...when you buy this bike from me I promise that I'll put the speedo back where you would like it! Lol. Thanks the same though.

I take it you don't have any side pics of your bike with the stretched swing arm?

Anyone else have pics of a stretched swing arm running the stock size wheel & fender?

Thanks to everyone else too. I'll rock the brass for a while. It'll look better when it gets a little grungy.

Made some lowering blocks/ lower shock mount relocators last night.

Started by taking some measurements then transfering them onto a piece of 3/16" plate. Drilled the holes & cut em out.

Test fit pic

This piece replaces the axle adjuster nut stop plate & will weld to the piece in the first pic

Welded them together & test fit again

Once I was happy with em I cut em a little more to get a better looking piece then powdercoated them. Here they are installed.

Rear shocks back on.

While the pieces were cooling down from being in the oven I lowered the front a little more & changed the kickstand out with one from a Nightster.

So, my drop consists of Nightster rear shocks, 2" lowering brackets, 2.75" shorter fork springs & a Nightster kickstand.

Yeah, I have another fender that I'm shaving the tail light, license plate mount holes & seat bolt holes on before paint. (Kind of similar to what Jag has done with his only with body work & paint instead of a strip of leather.) All of the parts will be getting a fresh paint job. I lowered the front fender 1"...I still need to remove the excess fender mount bracket left over from that too.

Thanks.

Some damn nice mods, like the others I like the brass, the seat, and the air cleaner without the cover. Was the air cleaner originally made for a bike or something else?

Thanks, it was just in an aisle at Auto Zone. For automotive but I doubt anything specific.

sweet bike! i also like the rear with a little meat on the fender yet. thats the route i plan to go when i do the spring seat thing. found a cool little fender for the iron so i dont have to chop the frame off. i plan on leavig the sides of the fender a little longer so the wheel stuffs up in there like yours.
