Most of the aftermarket slip ons I've seen dont't have the "port" for the balance tube. Just like most aftermarket pipes don't have a balance tube.
If the SE's didn't have the ports I'd get ride of the balance tube. I considered closing off the ports with a weld but I don't know enough about it to know what the affect would be.
