The bike sat in a store front window display for a long time. I expect it was a time lease or rental thing to another store, so the dealer had all ready made a few $$$ off it. That and it was an '08, still new so it got the steep discount. My wife had to approve the purchase and found the spare change in an account I haven't used for several years. I think the stars were aligned just right on this one. Most of the time if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. I'll post pictures once the windshield and rack get put on next week. The 1964 Chev is all stock except for the repaint and the lo pro tires / wheels my son-in-law put on. Its got an automatic transmission and the small block. All numbers match. One of these days we will pull the engine and have it worked over to fresh factory spec.
Ride safe.

I was pondering one of those last June, but the guy wanted 8.5K for it. Couldn't stomach that as my other choice was an '07 1200R for 5.6K

Sweet deal, and cool Scoot. I know a guy that won one of those 40 Miller Beer Bikes, and have road with him a few times. They look even better in person.
