California Model Specifics

Good info Ranalli....Thanks!
What a goofy law about not being able to buy an out of state bike with less than 7500 miles on it. Who the heck cares how many miles it has on it as long as you're paying CA tax on the purchase price and to register and it meets emissions....I swear our law makers have got to be the dumbest people out there....Ivy League schools and no common sense....

You will be fine bringing whatever bike you already own if you are moving here. You just can't be a resident and buy an out of state bike with less than 7,500 miles on it. I moved here 7 years ago and brought my bikes from PA and the only trouble I had were the PA license plates. I got pulled over 3 times (same cop the first two times) my first week here and was told to get my California plates right away or I would get a ticket. I never had to get the bikes inspected.
