here in the uk, my local dealer said if I supplied and fitted all the parts he would charge £600 a rip off!
I think for those who have done the stage one without re mapping, it would be a good idea to get there bike Dino Tuned, this cost £60 - £80 and would onfirm if indeed the bike needs any adjustments!
what do you think?

My understanding is you can do either one without a remap, but not both. The automatic calibration does not allow for that great of percentage in change. HD runs lean from the factory to start with. Dont risk it, Get the dealer remap or contact Fuel Moto for managment system.

To all that have caught my faux-pas,
Doh what was I thinking? Of course you are all correct, switching the intake and exhause will make the bike run leaner, not richer.
I should have my Nightster taken away and given a tricycle.
You all take care,
Trib

My Dealer wanted like $180.00 to remap. Money better spent on PC5 IMO.

I went with the SE Pro Super Tuner. I've tried the fuelpak and the PC5. The super tuner has smart tune, and NO extra boxes that stay on the bike that get in the way. Works best for me. If I go 1200, I don't have to buy anything else, I have all the maps for it on my laptop already.

Oops to answer the original post....no it will not automatically remap.

Smile Auto remap

I am one step ahead of you, sporty2009uk. My sporty is going on the dyno tommorrow.I have fitted a se high flow airfilter and long drag pipes. It runs very lean with both these done. it was ok with just the pipes. Not much gain from this apart from a brillant sound. I am fitting the new power commander v , for some extra cost one can get this system with a auto tuner. plug and play. Will let you know what i got as our bikes are designated for the same market, just i am down in South Africa.

Hi themac 51510
I have not read about this one but I notice-
"Data recording is activated with a push of a button, so the VCI can be used to gather data during true race conditions"
Does that mean you have to take the seat off to activate it by pressing the button?

All right, looks like I will be in the market for a PCV. $275.00 in the J&P cat. I have one one my Busa and tuned it myself with my laptop. Looks like I will be doing the same thing before the next ride.
