Some input needed
Good Day to all!! Got a question for you all, I'm in the process
of purchasing the burly brand slammer kit for my 05 sporty 1200C.
I plan on giving the bike to my wife in the near future. Would it be wise to lower the front as well as the rear, or just do the rear? My wife stands at a nice 5'4". Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.
Thanks Memo

The Burley Slammer kit comes with dropped front springs, right? So, why not install them? There is a reason they come with the kit.
If all you want is a lowered rear, then skip the kit, and just buy the shorter rear shocks.
But, doing that will make your bike sit with the bottom of the frame angled up in the front. That kinda looks weird in my opinion. And just makes it look like an el cheapo chop job.
Bottom line, the "Slammer" kit is made to lower the whole bike. If that is not your plan, then don't waste your money on the kit, just get lower shocks or lowering blocks for the rear.
