Hopefully; you won't have to shift with the right foot and brake with the left foot, and then end up riding on the wrong side of the road...LOLOL!!
That's the way that they used to be.
Just shoulda gotta bigger HD.
It's a buyers market pretty much anymore.
Good Luck.

Triumph has that name and history that turns my head, sorta like the Indian. Hear thy're good bikes, seems odd they'd have models named Bonneville, Thunderbird, Daytona, and America. Hope you enjoy yours.

BTW, if you go looking for their website like I did..this isn't it. http://www.triumph.com/global/#/index.html

Will be listing a few things for sale in the next month or so. Have learned some great things on this forum. Thanks.
You didn't learn much.

Should of got a Road King if you wanted comfort. You think that Triumph is a long distance tourer?

Congrats! Triumph makes a great bike, and the America is a sweet ride!

I really like the Thunderbird. Probably good that there is no dealer in Montana

I've got Harleys and Triumphs. Added the Iron just recently.

The website above is going to tell you more than anybody about problem solving and adding ponies on your Bonneville. They've got threads with pictures and detailed instructions on almost every mod you can think of.

If you remove the airbox and go to pods you can add a lot more power, BUT it's mostly top end power.

Two entirely different powerbands. Even an 883 is going to have a lot more bottom end than the Bonnie.
The Bonnie has the top end though.

I've got Progessives on the rear and Intiminators on the front of the Bonnie and it is a very plush ride.

Without the Intiminators, you're going to get a lot of fork dive. The good news is that on the Ricor website, if you enter promo code "Triumph", you'll get the Intiminators for $149.00 instead of $300. Great deal, great product.

Have a great time on your new ride.
