what was the final outcome? My OL works for a law firm that chases ambulances. She agreed with what THELAW said. She said that insurance laws are federal guidelines. Also, she stated that Tricare would want their money for the ER costs. She did say the INS Co would be sleezy, so what was the final and did you get reimbursed to pay Tricare back?

final outcome is the other guy's insurance (Geico) is covering everything, it just takes time to get through all the paperwork. Sorry it took me a while to get back to you the computer at work wouldn't let me log in and I kept forgetting to while at home

as far as gear I was wearing Bates tan combat boots (left over from my Army days) American something leather chaps (don't recall the exact brand but they worked) H-D Ballistic Nylon/Kevlar jacket, full gloves and an HJC Modular helmet.

Just to Update everyone I finally got my bike back today! took a while for the insurance stuff to get worked out but Geico sent me a check for the deductible so I was able to pick it up from the shop. its supposed to be in the 40s for the next couple days so maybe I'll go for a ride tomorrow before work
