That is the good thing about being in tennessee if you sit more than one red light and it's clear it is legal to run the red light.

Luckily for me all the sensors where I live are the optic ones that sit on top of the light poles, so they usually seem to register my existence. However, I may need to look into one of these just to be on the safe side when I finally head out on a road trip.

There a couple here where I live that are a bitch. I find that walking the bike back and forth a couple feet usually does it for me. If not I will go after a couple light cycles and find another rout next time.

I have this same problem and at first, it took me awhile to figure out what was going on. One light right down the road from me gives me hell everytime I pull up to it. I usually turn right and make a u-turn. I might look into that magnetic thing that goes on the bottom. I checked it out a few months ago but I might break down and get it.

The green light trigger works! I've had one on my Sportster for about 5 years. As soon as I got it I rode to a couple of lights that had NEVER changed for my bike. The green light trigger tricked the sensors and must have thought I was a truck!

I have the opposite problem around here - the optical sensors don't work at all for me. Most of the sensors in the pavement work fine (with a few exceptions).

Thanks SportyReb for the report. Actually, I thought they were a gimmick. Tim
