So I am getting my tank repainted and it has been suggested to change from the emblem to the Nightster decal. I have Google'd, EBay'd, Yahoo'd, even asked around, but I can't find a part number for the decal. I don;t have easy access to a HD Dealer as I am stationed in Germany... not that they don't exist, but sometimes there is a language barrier.

Can anyone provide me a part number for the Nightster tank decal?

Not to get far away from what you asked ...

But ... If you are having the tank repainted, and you still want the HD Nightster logo on the tank ... why not just have the Nightster logo actually painted on the tank instead of using a decal.

I'm sure it would be no problem for the painter ... just a thought.

Good Q's... I am asking the painter if he knows for sure. I haven't been able to find any Nightster decals period, but I am able to locate Sportster decals. Perhaps it is painted on...

 

You know the Nightster is a Sportster. Its the Sportster 1200N.

 

A good vinyl decal shop should be able to cut you one from a high quality picture of a Nightster tank if you can find one to photograph.

 

I was told by my dealer that this was a screen print that is done at the factory when I was researching the cost of converting an orange black to a silver black.
