The great thing about the "User Control Panel" here, is the "Ignore User" option.

Oliver and any comments he makes in the future are forever invisible.

Bye, Bye, Gomer, you're history.

Default OP Update

Ok, so I went ahead and changed the oil and filter last night. I let it drain for a good 20-25 minutes and put the full 3 quarts in there, minus the 4 oz. I put in the filter. I took it for a quick (2-3 mile) ride this morning and checked the dipstick about ten minutes after I shut the engine off. The oil level is exactly halfway between the add the full lines on the dipstick. So, I'm assuming this is good to go as long as I check it once a week or so.

Also, I pulled the filter cover off again this morning to check for oil. I had wiped the excess off the inside of the filter cover last night and there was no new oil there so I think that's good to go too.

Final question is: I hand-tightened the worm clamp on the drain hose and I noticed some oil around the seal on the lug nut this morning. How tight should that worm clamp be tightened? I don't want to snap the thing off...

Thanks for all the replys.

Just nice and snug is fine, don't over tighten. But, I'm not sure what you are reffering to when you say a "seal on the lug nut"?

I mean the nut on the muffler mount that the hose attaches to.
