Pepcock hose falls off!
My bike ramdomly dies ever so often. After some researching i find out its my pepcock hose that keeps falling off. With out it the bike will not start or run. Its a bad desisgn IMO. What happens is the rubber hose connects to the male end that sticks down. Therefore the house points up and connects and due to vibration falls down. (hopefully that makes sense) Ive tried zip tieing it up there for now. Im going to see if that holds. If not maybe a hose clamp although its tough to get in there. Last resort would be get a new male end connection so the hose connects on the side of it instead of down. Has anyone else came across this problem?

RE: Pepcock hose falls off!
I assume you're talking about the vacuum hose and not the fuel hose!!! I just had mine apart to pull out the petcock and clean the screen. The vacuum hose is a very snug fit and there's no way it will come off from vibration unless there's something wrong with it. If you have enough slack, cut the end off and see if the hose goes on any tighter. If it doesn't, maybe it's the wrong size.
