ignition module wasn't the problem
Went to see my Indy today and he was doing a few more tests, before he orderd the module- After a lot of head scratching, low and behold he found the problem!!!!- He's awesome!!- Ended up being a bad Bank Angle Sensor, which is kind of wierd, since the bike never leaned over-Sooo, the next ? is has anyone else ran into this problem before?????
Out for a quick ride yesterday, before the wife even got up ,to test
out my new exhaust - Riding, and then all of a sudden, bike dies as if
it wasn't getting any gas. I had to get a tow to bring it to the shop,
a couple of towns away ($175--plus parts and labor - OOUUUCCCHHH) -
With only 11,000 miles on my bike,it turns out the ignition module was
the culprit -Just wondering,if that is real strange for that amount of
miles, and could there be an underlying cause that could have made it
blow-I'm a little parinoid now, untill I get a few miles on the
bike,when I get it back,so I'll feel confident it won't happen again -
Any imput appreciated!!! - THANX Gary
