Clutch cable adjuster
Not sure why my adjuster has a thumb wheel type adjuster and not a 6 sided nut style. I watched the vid from the forums on adjusting this and once the guy adjusted it he used 2 wrenches to tighten and lock the new setting.
I have had 2 occasions now where the adjustment loosens and I have to turn the bike off because I cant get into neutral.
Is this just a case for thread lock? I am very frustrated and it seems it could become dangerous for me.

Exactly! Why would there be a thumbscrew there instead of a nut you can tighten. The bike is stock and I think it is the stupidest thing in the world for there to be a thumbscrew there. How in the world can anyone think that is a good idea with all the vibration? I guess I will have to have that changed. I dont want to be pulling over in the cold dark to keep adjusting this shitty thing.

Strange.
What year bike is it?
Happen to have a picture showing the adjusting 'wheel'??
I'd hate to think that the newer models are using a clutch adjusting setup in which there is no "locknut" to hold the setting in place... That would be crazy, and could be dangerous as well....
