Default Highway Pegs

Hi Everyone, new member here, picked up a 2005 xl883 last august after taking the safety course, due to the famous new england weather was only able to put about 100 miles on before storing her for the winter. I am getting to the stage now where I am trying to figure out wants/needs. I have already added a detachable windshield, and made it a two-up (for the little woman) and because of my height 6' 2" added extended forward controls. The bike was actually sold used (The guy who bought it wanted something bigger) so it had about 1300 miles on it already, with some additional chrome on it as well. I have everything for the Stage I upgrade, SE slip ons, dynojet kit, and k & n air filter. Hopefully will be getting to that this weekend. I have tried to read thru most of the forum so as not to duplicate a question and haven't found this one on here. I was wondering if anyone has either a crash bar/ highway pegs with the extended controls? I have seen some replies but they are always in reference to the regular forwards.. For the most part I am extremely comfortable riding, but there are times when I really want to kick my legs out a little bit more, but don't really know that by adding highway pegs if A. it will kick them out that much more or B. If it is something that can even be done. Thanks in advance for any replies...

Thanks for the replies, I have seen heather's bike, very nice looking, I may go that route, I just didn't know if with the added 2 inches on the extended controls if it would be in the way of the pegs, I'll try to get in touch with her and see what she thinks. Thanks again....
