Thanks Oldfenderguy. I will readjust the clutch cold. Last time the primary was at operating temp. I'll let you know how it feels after I get time to adjust it.

Also (and just a reminder), be sure to loosen the clutch cable and give it a lot of slack before attempting to adjust the clutch.

I've seen cases where someone tried to adjust their clutch adjusting screw without having enough slack in the clutch cable, only to find out that tension from the cable gave them a 'false snug reading' when turning the adjuster screw.

That I did do. Had all the slack out of it when I was adjusting it. Sounds like I was doing it hot and not actually snugging it up and backing off but just feeling a little slight resistance and backing off. I will give it a show when it stops raining and I can get the bike out and work on it.
