Started it up , Sounds GREAT V & H sss
Well I finaly got my rainy day time to install my to trinkets .
Installed the Vance & Hines short shot staggered pipes
Dido . the Arlen Ness Big Sucker stage II .
Also bought the Dyno- jet kit , but I decided to experament with the jets first .
I drilled out the cap for the idle adjustment screw also .
Checked the main jet and it was already a 175 , Is this the original size ?
Instructions say to go with the 175 if adding pipes and AC.
Change the idle jet to a 45 .
I was already having some backfiring on take off with the original factory set up .
Went for a ride and the plugs look abought the same as before .
I may go to a 180 main jet ?
WOWWW my 2004 sportster finaly sounds like a running Harley.
You should see and here the results .
I,ve got to try to figure out how to put on a few pictures ..
