no i didnt, but i haven't given up yet. i welded up some straight pipes and wrapped them for now. my focus kinda got redirected into paint. ha. im working on the stock black base with some root beer metal flake scallops maybe with some cream stripping. but i will keep working on the pipes and let you guys know as soon as i get the up sweep and all that worked out.

Man I'd like to see that too. I thought of this thread the other day when I saw some trumpet looking slip ons on Ebay. Can't find it now, of course.

the flake paint job is on hold for a bit, i got laid off 2 weeks ago. but a buddy of mine did do some pin stripping on the tank and rear fender. i will post some pics tomorrow. i just saw some trumpet pipes on ebay today also, so this week or next week im gonna start working on that exhaust.

yeah but at least since the lay off ive had plenty of time to work on the bike. the pin striping came out great. ill post some pics tonight. and ive spent the last 3 days making my own pipes from scratch. i got everything welded, sensors installed, baffles installed torque cones in and took it for a ride. power was great, sound even better but during decel the bike shakes and vibrates like crazy. i dont know how to fix it. im bummed.

That pinstriping is too cool! I love that style. Good luck getting that shake worked out.
