Is it possible to find the electrical schematics online for a 1979 Sportster XLH? i've been searching everywhere and finding nothing. do i just not know where to look? Or is buying a manual the only way to go?
please help! i know at least 3/4 of you have sat stuck in a garage yanking your hair out and staring at your motorbaby.

The only place I know where to get these are in the service manual. I picked mine up for a 2005 on Amazon for $28 bucks.

 

Not that it's any help, but I've never been able to find a complete wiring diagram on the web. A Clymer's or factory manual is probably the way to go.
