I just recently seen the bolt on springer seat kit that is on ebay. Looks awesome and I would like to do it. My question to anyone that has a set up like this....Is this thing comfortable? I do alot of riding and I don't want to sacrifice comfort for looks. So give me some opinions....I get alot of helpful info here so that's why i'm askin... Thanks

 

I have a hard/thin seat on my solo springer, and have already forgotten what it feels like on the stock seat. My butt feels fatigued in an hr of riding on either seats.

 

If you do a lot of long rides.... spring seats are not nearly as comfortable as the stock seat.. believe me, I just came back from a 350 miles roundtrip ride, and I renamed my bike as the Iron Torture Machine!!!.. LOL!!!.. of course, I lost my mind by going with a spring seat with no padding, struts and inverted handlebars, it looks cool as hell... but a serious no-no for long rides... heck!!! I am not changing my torture machine a bit!!!.. Iron-Butt all the way!!

 

Appreciate the input... I guess it can't be much worse than the stock seat. I'm just wondering how it may look since i have the 4.5gal tank on mine. Thanks fellas!!!
