Default Bobbing the fender/new tail-light--Advice Please

Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum and man it is great. Anywho, i'm goin to bob the rear fender on my '05 883 custom and want to install a sparto style L.E.D. tail-light. Can I just wire the new tail-light in to the harness or do I have to do someting else since the LED draws less current? I assume less current draw than stock is OK, but want to make sure. By the way heres where I got the idea for the fender and taillight changes http://www.soetengadesign.com/Bob%20jobs.htm

...hope to hear back with advice and maybe give someone else an idea for the cool look these guys have posted at soetenga design.

Hey! I have never done the actual bob but that is the coolest looking DIY I have seen in a while. I would think that you should be able to wire right in with the factory harness provided that the bulb in the tail lamp is similar in wattage and is a dual filiment bulb.

On a side note. where can you get the tail light and the bobber seat set up? That looks like a custom job but not to hard to do. I like the way that bike looks!

Post pics when you get it done![sm=signs003.gif]

Sorry, I don't have any advice but have to say I love Sportsters with a bobbed rear fender. Post some picture when you are finished.
