XL1200N rear fender reflector for XL883N
Hi,
Next year could be possible to install side-mount license plate from Nightster and Iron USA models in my country... but need to buy on-line the pieces and don't know exactly the part numbers... I hope anyone can help me. I read somewhere this:
.- 60318-07 -> LICENSE PLATE ASY, SIDE MNT
.- 73102-96BK -> TAB HOUSING, 2-POSITION
.- 73106-96BK -> TAB HOUSING, 6-POSITION
.- 73190-96 -> TAB TERMINAL 20-16 GA (x10 units)
But... what about rear fender red reflector and its plastic support? I found another part number:
.- 68703-07 -> MTG., BLOCK, REFLECTOR...
But I am afraid it could be the side reflector... I would appreciate if someone can help me... Thanks in advanced

I'm not sure about the parts but why would the fender reflector be necessary? I think that's the first thing I ripped off of mine when I got it home. There is a ton of inexpensive aftermarket lighted side-mount plate brackets. Must it be OEM parts to be legal?
You can also order the USA rear shocks to drop it down a bit.
EDIT: Ahh, I see what you're talking about in your pic that you circled. The reflector just sticks on with 2-sided tape. That large bracket is the fender support that you already have. I have that bracket & reflector if you need it to be legal.

Thanks mreed... but I am afraid I live in Spain. Here, we have to pass a periodically inspection and every piece must be homologated... this is reason for asking about OEM parts... for being sure... the reflector is not attached to the large bracket, isn't it? then... what is the function of the bracket? Here in Spain the Nightster and the Iron use under-fender mount license plate bracket... -I am going to look for the bracket showed in the photo on my Iron-... last question. I am going to order the parts to lshd1 because the pieces are much expensive in Europe... could you see if the bracket and the reflector have printed the part number?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I'll look when I'm there again, my take-off parts are in storage. The reflector is taped to the fender. That large bracket is what keeps your fender from caving in should you decide to haul a passenger and also acts as support for the rear frame rails because they do not tie together once they extend beyond the main frame. If you have a random phillips head bolt through your fender between the rear seat bolt & the rearward most tip of the fender then you already have that bracket.

I do not know about the iron but under the rear fender of the Nightster, this bracket runs from bolt to bold on both sides of the fender. Look behind the blinkers, you will see a bolt on both sides and right in the middle of the fender where a passanger seat would bolt on there should be a phillips screw. these 3 hold that bracket on. you should have this. you do not need this for the licnse plate or the reflector. The reflector is held on by double sided tape only. you need none of these parts in your picture. I will try to find them for you
