Should I get Progressive 11.5" or 12" 440s?
I am getting ready to buy some new shocks and was wondering what everyone's thoughts are as to increasing the size from the stock 11". I am thinking 12" just to get more travel for the spine jarring bottoming out on seemingly every little bump. I think the 440's are the way to go for whatever size I get thought.
Thanks for any help...

if you can swing the 440's, get them. progressive was giving away free fork springs if you buy a set... so you may as well match your suspension front-to-rear.
while you're putting new springs in, pick up a set of ricor intimidators for your front-end. combined with the 440's, you'll have a kick-*** suspension system.

Oh yeah, I run progressive fork springs with BelRay 7w fork oil in the front. Perfect balance between front and back. I was spoiled by a MAICO so I did what it took get that supple but well controlled feel.

I was thinking about going with the 12" shock so I would get more play out of them. But I noticed that Progressive makes a 11.5" HD (Heavy Duty) shock, so that's what I went with.
Also, www.jcmotors.com has them for $438.00 a pair; that's where mine are coming from.
Anyone have more input on the Ricor Intimidators? Certainteed, do you use these?
Don't mean to steal the thread, kinda weird that Im in the same shoes as Supersergio44 and I'm interested for some more input.

I have been running the intiminators and the works dual rate fork springs with a fork brace .The front end absorbs the bumps better and the forks feel solid under heavy front braking.I have the ohlins hd 141 rear shocks on my 2004 1200r.I'm real happy with the set up.
