+1 on both length and fork springs... 13.5 440's and progressive fork springs, lost the slammed look, but can ride all day, and never scrape in the twisties....
Jay, I'm 5' 9" and 202 lbs with a Sundowner seat and I can still clear the seat by a good 2"
5'8" here 28 inch inseam but with the stock 13.25" Shocks could still Flatfoot Fine.. Was wanting 13.5" Progressives but Found a Great Deal on 12.5" too good to pass up.. They are working fine..
Anyone have more input on the Ricor Intimidators? Certainteed, do you use these?
I don't yet. If I keep this bike (and I probably wont) I'll get the ricors. There is a really long thread on another forum about them, and everyone who's installed them has given glowing reviews. A search of youtube will net videos of their suspension systems in action... one video shows an off-road monster tearing through the desert at incredible speed... the shocks are working like mad.
The progressive 440's have the same valving ricor invented (unless i'm mistaken?) and most folks love their 440's.
Like I said, I'd get them tomorrow if I thought I was going to keep the bike.
