OK, I'll be smart a## on this. If you ask someone down here "What do you do with left over shrimp?"...they say...."There is no such thing!" If you ask us about how to store a bike for winter...."There is no such thing!" Now if you ask us what to do with your bike in late July/August we might say move it into the A/C.

Ride when you can, and keep the bike out of the snow banks.

Curt.....You don't need to really winterize the bike, unless you're not going to take it out every once in a while through the winter. If you do lay it up, just do a fluid change, a good wash/wax, and top of the tank with fuel stabilizer & fuel. Me, I only lay mine up during hunting season until I fill all my tags. I just pull the bike into my rec room. I have never used a tender on it, ('00 XLH), because it will typically only sit for a month or so at the most before the next ride.
