Just bought my wife a used 06 883 custom. She is learning to ride and will be taking the MSF course next week. While she is at the course I was hoping to lower the bike for her. I am torn between the 1" and 1.75" lowering blocks tamarack offers. Passengers are definitely out of the question but am still concerned about wheel to fender clearance. She is a lightweight...maybe 120#s at 5'3. Does anyone have any experience with the 1.75" blocks? I want her feet firmly planted on the ground... Thanks...

 

Bump... Anyone install the 1.75" blocks? How do you like it?

 

i have adjustable blocks that go from 1 to 2 inches. the 13 inch road king shocks work great on them, even with a passenger. although i make sure the air is adjusted properly b4 we go out.
