Stripped primary inspection bolt and fix...PITA!

The head isn't always the problem. I've had 2 that broke. Even anti-seize doesn't seem to help much.

Well, I guess the "screw" gods have just been smilin on me and I've been a lucky sucker.
BTW, I don't use Loctite or anti-seize on the derby or inspection cover screws. I do however, torque (wrench) them to spec and pray I never have to let a dealer monkey touch them with his impact gun.

I agree, go to Ace Hardware and buy some allen heads. I hate torx heads.

I've been really lucky I guess. Six Harleys and no stripped Torx heads. I torque them to spec and use the proper size quality Torx bit.
