When i ride 2 up I always take my Z1000 since it does much better and sits up much higher. I have a solo seat on my Sporty so i don't like to switch out seats.

We ride 2 up all the time on the sporty. This last weekend we put on over 500 miles in two days. Yea...something bigger would be more comfy, but we love hitting the back roads, and riding though the twisties.

Smart man. Can be hazardous to ask the wife's weight. Probably wouldn't get an honest answer anyway if she's like the rest of them.

If you decide to get another set of springs you had better start thinking about the story you are going to spin to the wife about why you are getting them. I'm thinking that "because your *** is so big" might not be a good one either.

Just looking out for you.

my lady and i rode up for the first time... i thought she was gonna hate it..i was convinced that she was gonna bitch and moan about the stiff ride and all the noise and wind and stuff..i couldnt have been more wrong. She loved it. she couldnt get enough. we spent 2 days riding around...no where inparticular...we ran around alll day yesterday...store to store...bar to bar... she cant wait till next weekend so we can do it again.

Well then - imagine this! The motorcycle in the picture is a 100cc Honda.

actually two up isn't THAT bad, but not for long "iron butt" runs. advantage helped make the argument for a bigger bike sooner!
looking at an electraglide classic for the spring!

No way the Sportster is for one up only! I am 200 pounds and she is 110, and we took the stock shocks to the last notch. We then got a rallyrunner seat, and we are both happy! Now granted we dont go more than 200 miles a day, but its all good! She isnt complaining anymore like she was with the badlander seat and the shocks all the way down!

Now this may make a difference! Both off us dont feel like you are riding unless you got the wind and the bugs in your face! We would never buy a bagger! BUT thats just us I know the majority of people like their windshields and big old baggers!!

I ride 2 up with the wifey all the time, granted we dont go on any super long runs.

Put the shocks at the next to last notch. Thinking about some Progressives either way.....stock shocks are junk.
