Rentals may be the way to go but lots of dealers have demo events where you can test ride a bike for free- My first bike is a '06 XL200C- absolutely love it.

Actually my local HD dealer let me take out a stock XL1200C for a ride after I asked.

Damn, im wanting a Sportster so bad now its crazy. But im not sure if its a good idea. Im 20 yrs old working full-time and im paying for school too. Well school isnt too bad since im going part-time so I can afford it without getting loans and grants and im also making a truck payment which isnt bad($195 a month). Im still living with my parents though I think it would feel wierd buying it. It would definately save me some money on gas going back and forth to work. I dont know, im just freakin bored! I sold my ATV and I have absolutely nothing to do! Kinda live in the country. Advice from you older and wiser folks?

Just think of it as a 'fuel saving investment' that (with normal care) could last you for over twenty years.

I was about your age when I purchased my first new Harley, and I've never regretted it or looked back.
