I've had a bad habit all my adult life, I would buy something and then fairly quickly want something else. Well, my wife bought this 2007 1200C for me in September of 2007. Since then I've added Progressive 440 shocks, Progressive Fork Springs, SunDowner seat, LED taillight etc. in the 9,890 miles since, it has become my friend and I look forward to each ride whether to Fredericksburg, 35 miles, Church in Warsaw (31 miles) or to my daughters in northern W.Va., 370 miles. Many of you like your Sportys nakeder than mine but I like it.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the Dyna Lowrider has been dropped from the 2010 lineup...oh yeah I kept my sporty when I bought the new Heritage(need to stay focused)

My first bike is a Sportster, bought it about a month ago. It was my intention to upgrade after a year to a softail but now I think I will keep it and also get the softail. It is like an emotional attachment. My wife is getting over her fits of jealosy...

Just tell your wife that it's only a motorcycle and you didn't keep your first woman.
I am fortunate to have a lady who loves to ride as much as I do, (maybe more) so the fxdl gets a lot of use, and I do like rideing it but I am also fortunate that I was able to keep the sporty for those times when it is just me. I love them both for different reasons
I bought my sporty in '05, I realized that it's not the greatest 2-up ride in the world. I paid it off and went up to geezer glide. I LOVE the way the sporty handles and I can't see parting with her.
