Default Noise when I hit my brake...

Ive had my bike almost 9 months and did really notice it until I put my windshield on.. if I'm going down the road and hit either break it makes kind of a whining sound.. it almost sounds electrical... if that makes any since..

is this normal.. any suggestions would be great thanks

Mine squeals a little if I use a little too much front brake.

But if I make sure to balance the breaking it's not a problem.

Harley brake pads are pretty much noisy, dusty, junk. When the time comes, usually about 10,000 miles, replace them with a set of Lyndall "Z-plus" or "Gold" pads.

Take the windshield off....problem solved...lol...j/k

It's probably a good idea to check the pads and replace them.

I made the switch to Z-Plus racing pads front and rear - quiet, far better stopping than stock HD pads, and limited brake dust. Well worth the investment.

Spray your rotors and pads with Brakleen. Soak 'em good. The difference in brake feel and smoothness is noticeable. It's only $3.79 at Autozone. Great stuff. Get 3 or 4 cans as you'll want to hose your cars down, too.
