Congrats on the promotion. Where in Italy will you be stationed?

 

Spent 2 1/2 years in Naples, It while in the Navy. I hope you like it. At first you are going to have a spell of culture shock. Trust me it will happen, about the 2nd month. Get out in town, get a translation book, and meet the local Italians. You will have a blast!

have fun airborne. the ski trips they run there were always fun. and the food is awesome. only thing that sucks is the training in germany, but you should be use to the cold.

visiting italy is up on my bucket list. i need to find out where my great grandfather was from and visit the city/town. congrats on staff sgt and thanks for the service

 

I'll be in Aviano, Italy. I'll be leaving Alaska some time in January Febuary time frame. i was going to take the bike but since its paid off and at my dads ill probably just leave it there for a couple years. I might buy a Ducati Hypermotard while i'm there... I'm so stoked!

 

even tho ur getting a ducati, dont forget about us here. we still want updates and whatnot

 

Good for you man. I am living in Rome at the moment with my Nightster. It's truly crazy driving and if you can ride here you can ride anywhere. The roads are great but not well maintained and it's a constant battle with scooters and some outrageous driving.

Upside is that everyone loves bikes here - particularly Sports Bikes.. downside be careful out there. It really is insane. Enjoy your time here in Italy.
