Okay...i was at my first bike night w/all harleys there, and my SE I pipes just aren't doing it for me anymore! I thought they were loud....but compared to all the pipes there...they were only purring!

I went to the V&H site, and it seems they the slip-ons are only goood for the 04+ models...can this be true???

I have a 99, and want to swap my SEI's for Straightshots...get louder and deeper! I was originally gonna get a summer mesh Jacket w/a HD gift certificate I'm getting from HOG for taking the MSF course...but i figure w/the gift card, 10% HOG discount...why the hell not go for the pipes...I can sweat out the summer...and anyway...black leather is bad ***!

Just curious if anyone has Straigtshots on their pre 04 sporties...inquiring minds want to know. If so...the day I get my gift card...off to HD I go!

I have looked for the SS slip ons for my 100 ann. 1200 C and V&H site do not have them listed....was going for them myself. I might just go with the Cycle Shack slip ons instead. I hear that they are nice and loud.

 

I got a set of cycle shacks from fleabay for like $70 they are a full on system, the bike sounds great a bit louder then the debaffled stockers, i think I want something even louder for my 03, I was thinking of taking my stock pipes to a muffler shop have them use the manifold connection and just make some crazy pipes shouldn't run more then $200, cause my custome Honda is still louder then my HD and that ****er is loud.
