Just wanted to write something positive since most of the time it is so negative so give kudos when they are due. American Harley in Leominster MA. Had to bring in the nightster for a leaky rocker box cover (under warranty) Anyway called on Friday brought it in following Tuesday night, done by Thursday. Not only fixed it but Dan also went the extra and cleaned that awful grey wrinkle on the lower engine area that had been stained a bit from the leak. Quick efficient service with a smile. We do go there frequently for parts and such but first time for service and could not have been happier with the outcome. Thanks guys.

 

Yep, bought my 09 Nightster there. They were great! Its not close to me at all but well worth the drive.

 

I must be spoiled with Dallas HD. I have been in for 3 services and a warranty issue (leaky rocker gasket). Every time I have called I have gotten a next day appointment and was ready the same day.

 

I've been to American Harley the last three weekends buying stuff for my new Nightster.

They have been great and I never feel rushed. I've even taken each of my young daughters and they always make them laugh. Super nice people. Never seem to get out of there without dropping a hundred on something

Im on the south shore Ill have to take a ride up and check it out. Ive only been to a few stores and the closest to me is Monty's. Monty's is fine and the employees are nice its just really small. Thanks for the heads up and a new destination for a saturday ride.

 

Same story here, one of the best experiences I have had at a dealership when I bought my Nightster from them. Lucky they are my local shop!

 

Maybe I just have high expectations, but shouldn't cleaning the oil stain in this case be EXPECTED and not extra effort given the fact that it's a known issue that caused the leak in the first place? The local stealer here always washes your bike when you bring it in for service.
