Luggage Rack for 2-up Seat on Nightster...
... put it on yesterday.
All the washer you gotta line up between the fender brace bracket and the bottom of the fender where kind of a pain in the ***, and the two bolts on the side took a little bit of work to get lined up just right. Other than that it wasn't too bad. Definitely not something i'll be taking on and off a lot, i think it looks pretty good (makes the bike appear longer too) so i'll be leaving it on.
The fasteners they chose don't really make sense...
Went from (2) Torx on the side and (1) large Phillips screw on the seat,
to (2) Allen Head Bolts on the side and (1) Torx head screw for the seat.
Not sure why they mix'n match fasteners like that, but it's not that big a deal.
Now i'm shopping for a bag for the rear rack and planning my first road trip.

I think i've decided to go with this bag:
... from Firstgear.
With this Saddleman bag, as an alternate:
... any opinions or experiences would be much appreciated.
Either should hold a coupla changes of clothes plus other small stuff i'll need for a coupla few days away from home.

Just gotta use the other seat hole for the 2up seat.
I guess you could even have dual racks... no idea if it would look good though.

No pics of it mounted, i'll get some next time i load down for a weekend trip.
The other bag was too long and would've fit awkward, plus it was meant as a sportbike tailbag.
Rack still on the bike, the finish has held up from weekly use (usually a small cooler every weekend).
